That Ain't Right
While enjoying brunch with my wife and some good friends at one of this town's great landmarks today, I saw three little black birds land on a nearby table. As the birds searched for leftover food to quickly scarf down before being shooed away, I saw one of the birds load up and hastily swallow a beak full of scrambled eggs.
My friends, that is simply not right.
A bird. Eating eggs.
It just ain't right.

It looks great
A chicken joint down by me features, on its sign, a cartoon chicken hungrily wielding a plump drumstick.
Sick, man.
Yeah, that's the sort of thing I'm talking about. It's just not right.
I think I'm extra sensitive on this topic because I watched "Planet Earth" the other night and there was what I can only describe as "chimpwar" between rival gangs of chimpanzees. (One group wore jackets that said "Jets", the other wore jackets that said "Sharks".) They had a serious throwdown that ended up with dead chimps and then the triumphant gang of chimps ate one of the defeated and deceased chimps from the other gang. I was definitely cautious at the zoo before - what with the throwing of feces and all - but I'm going to step up my caution level around the primates from this day forward.
