Holy Cow!

This is news, indeed.

What? Huh? Really?

It won't be easy for us dems to give the guy credit. It's easy to stay cynical. But when someone does the right thing...even if he's the guy responsible for some of the slimiest, most outrageous political behavior of the year, and this guy is...then we have to give him at least a little credit. Don't get me wrong, because I don't trust the guy for a heartbeat. But if he does the right thing, he does the right thing, whether I like it or not.

Politics is funny. Someone does the right thing and our instinct is to continue hating the guy. Gotta fight that urge sometimes.

A few years ago my wife was jogging through a beautiful wooded state park here in Nashville with her friend Trish. The park is vast, with a combination of walking trails and narrow paved roads. As it began to get dark they began to get lost. Whether they or not their cel phones didn't have signal or they didn't have them warrants the question - Women and gadgets, what up with that? Anyway, they were scared. Who drives up and saves them? Bill Frist's brother and his wife.

I was like... "Honey...what the...?"

So, now we like the whole family. The new Frist Center (museum) in Nashville is sweet too.

Ted is blogging like there's no tomorrow! I can't keep up!

I think Bill Frist is part of a misspelled political dynasty, but I haven't yet seen the other members of the dynasty:

Bill Frist
Mike Sceond
Steve Thrid
Otto Fuorth
Klaus Von Ffith

I am looking forward to their emergence on the political scene.

Vinissimo: Mrs. Pinata (and that would be my wife, just to clarify our cool semi-anonymous secret code) has a Blackberry. Don't get me started on her innate ability, or lack thereof, to make sense of the thing.

Sorry, I meant "Teodoro". My bad. I'd make a terrible spy.

Mrs. Pinata will pay for this. You know. In the press.
