Vinnissimo, this article or the article that would have been the basis of this radio forum was yesterday's salon.com "cover article". It is a membership site so I can't really link it but such articles make it worth the membership.
This week the Daily Show devoted the entire week to "exploring" intelligent design. They renamed their show "Evolution, Schmevolution", which is just funny because they advertised it that way.
There were some funny segments, but overall it didn't quite get to that over-the-top place that I expected.
They did do a segment, however, on the South Carolina Exodus people. Apparently the leader of the exodus lives in California and is planning on "arriving in South Carolina" in 2007. They did a phone interview with the guy, and had his picture on the screen, and put a moustache, colorful suspenders, and a funny hat on the picture.
Gotta love the Daily Show. This is not news. Yet very true.
Mr. Exodus-head needs to help me figure out where the heck it suggests in scripture that we Christians are supposed to quarrantine ourselves for fear of being infected by others.
I caught last year's religion vs. science game - the one in which religion won by two points on a last second field goal. I think science really has a shot this year, as they've dramatically improved the play of their offensive line and running backs. That said, religion has some great underclassmen who seem to really have the hang of the west coast offense. Should be a great game!

i don't know why i'm being such a nitpick. but....they took his hat off when he said he didn't want one.
that was so weird! he didn't care that they put a mustache and suspenders on it, but not a hat? weird, weird.
DNA in the audio clip that is on this link - the guy uses words right out of your head. Collective unconscience? Or is it a smart person thing?
Ah OK... It just makes sense.
Late to the party as always.

Oh, I forgot to add:

I believe Mister Exodus, or such, wishes that x-tians sequester themselves in some place in South Carolina. I can't recall where exactly.
Good luck, and thanks for the warning.
I think it would be cool to teach magic in school - but only because I like Harry Potter.
We used to teach Harry Potter in our school, but then they made those movies. So we can't be cool anymore.
