Music, RIP.
Heard, by me, today:
Rod Stewart's cover version of the John Waite hit "Missin' You"
-and-
Heart's a capella rendering of "O Holy Night"
As many of you are aware, music had a great run for a while there, beginning right around the dawn of civilization and, sadly, ending its fine run at around 1:24pm PST today. Based upon the two songs I heard today (mentioned above), music has clearly and unfortunately suffered its sudden and unanticipated demise.
Like many others, I will be searching for a new favorite art form. Currently under consideration: watercolor painting, puppetry, and ice sculpture. Other artforms interesting in applying for the position of "new favorite" are invited to submit their credentials for further consideration and review.

Ramdom acts of performance art.
Make your own show reality show.
Draw up cool vacation homes for Teo and Vinnissimo.
Are you loopy on baby formula?
;-)
(Apology submitted for my use of an emoticon, but I had to make sure my beloved Vinnissimo didn't think I was serious.)
i'm too burnt out to properly reply to this totally reasonable request. however, kevlar, i feel your pain. that's all for now...
Do you remember when I gave up on music as an adequate stand alone form of artful satisfaction? When Sting put out Soul Cages.
"Pops and buzzes kid." Do you remember this quote?
Wasn't that from SNL, when the brilliant Phil Hartman was Ol' Blue Eyes on "The Sinatra Group" with Sting as Billy Idol and Mike Meyers as Steve Lawrence?
I still use multiple quotes from that skit: "I got chunks of guys bigger than you in my stool!"
Yep classic. Ahh . . .
