Money Well Spent
I picked up Season 1 of Dr Katz, Professional Therapist on DVD this past weekend. Although it's only six episodes, I have been laughing out loud as I've watched the brilliant and underrated show from 12 (!) years ago. I will be picking up the season 2 DVD shortly.
And now, I shall favor you all with stories of how I recently matched my socks and folded towels.

I loved that show when it was on, but I only saw a few episodes. I know I need to make that purchase.
...would likely hit way too close to home these days for more than a few reasons.
Dude, you have a wife and two kids and a job and soccer practice and t-ball and repairs that need to be done on your minivan. How do you have time for Dr. Katz?
I have half a job and act like I'm too busy.
That's FINALLY out on DVD! I'm so, so, so, so happy ...
Happily, there is no soccer practice (currently) and t-ball has been upgraded to pitching machine-level Little League. And I do drive a minivan. But that isn't the vehicle that needs repairs. It's my station wagon that needs repairs.
That's right, gang. A minivan and a wagon.
And to your question: I pop the DVD in my laptop when I'm doing dishes or unloading the dishwasher (or something similar) and get a few minutes of viewing in.
The season 1 disc is only 6 episodes, but the season 2 disc (which I just ordered today) has 13 episodes.
i effin' LOAVE dr. katz. i try to tell people about the "dr. katz face," to no avail. you know the one where he kind of grimaces with bared teeth/smile/grr face/sheepishness?
i love that show.
